Problematic ballast in Ironforge
« on: January 19, 2016, 10:53:55 PM »
So I'm new to ironforge and I made a spinner robot in the middleweight class.

it has problems with flying around so I figured why not add some ballast since it wont change the weight class. When I added the ballast my robot changed to heavyweight class.
Id just like to know why this is.

Howdy, welcome to GTM!

So this problem is sorta weird.  Ironforge has different weightclasses than other mods.  However, the game itself doesn't actually know this, so you have to keep up with it yourself.  An Ironforge mediumweight is 200 kg (not counting weight from ballasts), and an Ironforge heavyweight is 400 kg (not counting weight from ballasts), so what you've got there is a HW.  Whatever the game thinks it is doesn't matter.  Sometimes, I like to name my bots "MW - [whatever]" or "HW - [whatever]" or whatever other weightclass to keep track.

(Does that make sense?  I hope that makes sense.)

K thx (It doesnt matter that much plus the fact that it goes flying helps it self right at times)

Yeah, I've tried making a couple shell spinners in Ironforge and they definitely need the extra ballast weight to not go nuts.  Just remember to keep up with how much of your bot's weight is ballast and how much isn't.

Yeah, unlike every other mod, Ironforge has self-enforced weightclasses. All of the weight listings show up when you booth the game. If you forget them while building your robot, the "credits" button on the main menu displays them as well.

Stock and DSL and others use the in-game weight classes, Ironforge does not.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.
