when i put the flametrower, to the red button control, in a battle i fire it but it just shoots a little burst so i have to smash the button to have a sustained fire, how do i fix this?
-
flamethrowers only work for buttons iirc, you'll have to rapidly press the button you set for the flamethrower to shoot a little burst at or google a rapid fire autohotkey script

No.
Wire it to an analog and problem solved.

When you wire it to a Button control, you only get a "Burst", which is what you're getting. Wiring it to an Analog will allow you to "Fire", which gives you a sustained burst. You could wire both analog directions to the same button to make the controls easier.

What I do is I wire it up as an analog. I only make one side do anything.
Wire an analog as follows -
Positive Axis - Space/R/F (Whatever you use)
Negative Axis - (Leave Blank)
Positive Axis - Fire
Negative Axis - <none>

I also try that, works on the garage but dont works in batlle for me
EDIT:Flametrowhers are AIed as Pokers???

Add any airtank, wire the flamethrower on an analog named "Flame" and use EternalFlame.py. I think it's in NAR AI.
God damn it, so much of the same n00b question about how the heck a flamethrower works. Bet there are many threads like this asking the same question already. I need to add the info to my tutorial.

Umm... no EternalFlame.py in latest version of Nar AI.
