Extending Chassi
« on: February 23, 2013, 10:03:45 AM »
Hi, i sucesfully managed to extend my chassi a little bit further then your suppose to be able to do in the design part by editng the bot file. When im in the workshop i can see that my chassi long. But when i enterpractice arena (Or any arena really) it only shows the maximum length that u would have in the design part.  Why is it only visible in the workshop, that my chassi is longer, while in combat its not there? And can you fix it?

Oh well i dont know how to do otherwise. But i solved my problem it was a bit annoying but i had to change some 0 values to -500. It appears u have to set the chassis setting both for bot lab and combat. If u were to tell me how to paste images i could make a litle tutorial.

Heres how my bot looks with its orignal scaled chassi :D

As you can see my bots front tire is having alot of pressure on it. Is there any antiballast that looses something like 100 or 1000kg?

Yes, and it's not hard to make one either, especially if you change the weight of a ballast from xxkg to -100kg or whatever. But yeah all these custom components aren't exactly legal in tournaments or appreciated in showcases, just to let you know.

Even in custom showcases, a random bot covered in custom components haphazardly won't be well received.
