DSL, Stock Merge

I downloaded the DSL from Sage's sig onto my RA2. I went into the game and i had; Stock UI, Stock AI, DSL components, Stock compenents, and DSL sounds. Can someone help me just have DSL?

It sounds to me like you might have not overwritten some stuff properly. How did you go about installing it?

Extracting the folder onto my desktop, then copying and pasting all of it into my RA2 folder.

Just download the whole package from Sage's link.  Save yourself the trouble of troubleshooting.

I had a perfect noob-proof record with the DSL download...

Anyways, just download the RAR, and extract to the DESKTOP. It's all there, its its OWN GAME. you don't need to merge with a normal ra2.

Did you click the .exe thats INSIDE the folder you DOWNLOADED?

Yes. I click it, it shows the first screen, then goes to the next, a small square of white appears, POOF, it closes.

That's the compressed file, it probably won't work. But if you just extract the files, paste them into a folder somewhere you can find, then open it up and run the .exe in the extracted folder, it should be fine.
