Improving Multiplayer Performance
« on: June 26, 2008, 04:57:14 AM »
Hey guys,

Does anyone have some tips to improve multiplayer performance? Im playing with 1 other person, pinging around 50-80ms and he has a decent upload. But Im still warping around the arena quite alot.

Are there tips like disabling sound, or renaming the sound files? What's the easiest arena to play in performance wise?

Already have the 1.2 update and our robots aren't really that sofisticated yet.

Well, put the graphics at their lowest (640x480 and low graphic effects), perhaps no sound, and yeah, using simple bots it better.

And set connection speed to whoever has the slowest connection.....usually 384 cable works best with ALL connections.
