So I reinstalled DSL2.2 to fix a crashing issue, and now it doesn't crash, instead, it doesn't save bots when I exit the builder. Plz help :(

Check the game folder and see if it is read only.

I don't think it's read only... it says on the file if it is, right. This copy also crashes when I try to import a robot

Try the folder the file is in.

Right. Check all the folders (The Teams folder in particular) are in to see if they are read-only as well.

Nope. I did find some folders (the .gib files) that windows hadn't found a program to open, is that OK?

What GIB files?
The Components are GIB files.I do not think thats a problem.
What you can do, is go to the properties for the whole folder RA2 and If its read only change it.
I heard someone had a similar problem and fixed it with the command prompt.

It is read only and my problem is the same as the one from Asbestossar's link(thx). I have no idea what command prompts are or how to use them tho.Edit: tried using command prompt to fix and failed. Probably because I couldn't find any instructions for windows 6, which is what my crappy computer uses.

When You say 6 do you mean NT 6?
Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008?
Did you do what Badger said in the other thread for the command prompt?

Have you tried right click -> properties?

Also, I've had problems in the past whenever RA2's been in my "Program Files" folder. If it's in there I'd suggest moving it to somewhere else.

U mean this Asbestosstar? I mean I typed this into command prompt and it said it wasn't recognised. Mr.AS, when I uncheck read only it doesn't actually stop being read only, and RA2 is not in my programs folder.

lolno that is not a windows command (and please, don't use that in linux if you don't know what you're doing)
I mean with you have a ton of complications at this point, you're much better off redownloading/reextracting the game.

Reinstalled RA2 DSL, and still does exactly the same thing as before. Yay.

Tell me if you get the same problem with stock.

Nope, stock is fine. Also, I forgot to mention, I don't extract RA2 with winrar, I have to use openit, cos I do this on a family computer without access to the administrator
