Where do I place the hex codes for the GMF object color in the Dome GMF? Or is there a way to ad a BITMAP skin layer over the GMF?

I don't have the .gmf in front of me (I don't skin DSL components) but if it is like all other components, then the hex codes should be added under:
*MATERIAL_AMBIENT
*MATERIAL_DIFFUSE
and
*MATERIAL_SPECULAR
You can also add a map to it but you would have to re-write the section with the hex codes. I might do it for you if I have the time.

Ok. ;D
One piece of advice:
Remember, if you do write a map for it, it would have to be one map for the whole component unless you do one for each section.

you can map other sections
I wrote up tips and such how to do this in the battle bots ai thread also before when you asked
just remember to back up everything because there is no edit undo with component meddling
