hi, i been trying forever to try to download dsl v 2.0. i dont know how to do it the tutorials dont make any sense i dot get the overwrite part.i have the downloaded versions,so if anybody can help,or make the tutorials more clear plz dp so :D thanks.

i tried but when i go to drag everything it doesnt ask to overwrite all. it just puts them on there. all the files have no read c except for ai.

Strange. I think now that you really need help.

Remove the read c for AI, but I can't help you anymore.

Does your stock game is alright, everything... it should ask to overwrite all... or is it your comp?

yea it still wont work :| eh o well. probly just my comp or maybe the game. but thanks for helping me :). and oh i forgot to mentio that when i take the c off then i double check the c are back, and i didnt even move them yet. wonder why

THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT REMOVING READ ONLY IN THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!
Y'all don't confuse him.

You download the .rar file to your desktop...you will need winrar. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
You create an EMPTY folder on your desktop
You extract the rar to the empty folder
You open C:/Program Files/Infograms/Robot Arena
You drag the contents from the desktop folder into the Robot Arena folder and IT WILL ASK to overwrite unless you have crapassvista the you select copy and replace.

When you try to move the contents of the folder on your desktop you extracted the rar too into the robot aren folder a box will pop up and unless you have AUC disabled the crapassvista will ask you several times or you sure you want to do it.

augh this is confusing. when u go to extract it do u extract the lil folder that has the ... on it to? or just the dsl one?

If you double click that, it will go to the previous folder, wich would be the folder the .rar is located in.

Lets take this one step at a time.

#1- did you download DSL from https://gametechmods.com/?do=RA2_AIpacks and did you get DSL-TC v2.0 (No Graphics for the Download version of the game)

OK, I will assume you downloaded it to your desktop so it will be handy.

#2 - Do you have Winrar http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm ?

I Will assume you have WINRAR by now if you didn't.

#3 - Go to C:\Program Files\Infogrames (assuming that is where you installed your game to) and THEN right click the Robot Arena 2 folder and select Copy....Then click in an empty space BELOW the Robot Arena 2 folder and right click and select Paste........It will make a folder named Copy of Robot Arena 2, you will rename the folder to Robot Arena 2 DSL. (let me know when you catch up and have done EVERYTHING up to this point)

#4 - CLOSE ALL windows and on an EMPTY space on your desktop right click and select new and folder.

Nevermind, delete the new folder....DSL 2 is different. Just extract it to your desktop and it will make it's own folder.
