Where do I place the hex codes for the GMF object color in the Dome GMF? Or is there a way to ad a BITMAP skin layer over the GMF?

I don't have the .gmf in front of me (I don't skin DSL components) but if it is like all other components, then the hex codes should be added under:
*MATERIAL_AMBIENT
*MATERIAL_DIFFUSE
and
*MATERIAL_SPECULAR

You can also add a map to it but you would have to re-write the section with the hex codes. I might do it for you if I have the time. ;)

Ok. ;D

One piece of advice:
Remember, if you do write a map for it, it would have to be one map for the whole component unless you do one for each section.

you can map other sections

I wrote up tips and such how to do this in the battle bots ai thread also before when you asked  ;)

just remember to back up everything because there is no edit undo with component meddling
