What size are your decals? (By that I mean 24 x 24 etc)

Most random decal name ever.
Decals need to be 24 (iirc)-bit, non RLE-compressed .tga's that are either 64X64, 128X128,256X256, etc. (.bmp's work too but can't have transparency)

Oh they have to be square alright thanks. Also whenever I put in my own music it does not play.

In game play (via .py editing) or in the menus?

Did you make sure that it was a .mp3?

Yes it's a .mp3 file. Do I need to delete the other song in there too?

oh nonononononono.
just make sure your song is first, alphabetically (how I do this is I put a 0_ next to the song that I want to hear first, then a 1_ for second, and so on)

Oh, I just put a z in front of the other song's name is that ok?
Oh and the .tga's still do this:

but the .bmp's work now

Look at above post I edited. And does it matter if the song has a super-long name and tons of metadata?

It might take a bit longer to load if it's a hughe file, like 500MB, but in general, songs don't tend to be more than 5 minutes long, and less than 100MB each. As long as it's first alphabetically, it'll play first.
btw make sure you have your music on in options
About the decal, is it zXz pixels large? Where z is a power of 2?

yes they're all 64x64 px in size now. Also the music is 'On' and the song is Super Ponybeat- Evil Enchatnress and it's like 7.77 MB.

Non-RLE compressed? Do stock decals work?

I don't know about RLE compression, I made them in Paint.NET sooo... And yes, stock decals work as well as .bmp files.

Resave them, go into paint.net and when it asks you if you want RLE compression MAKE SURE THE BOX IS UNCHECKED.
(i dun goofed up, i meant to say 32-bit .tga's. srry haven't made any decals an a while)
