Title: Custom AI Teams (HELP!)

I followed JoeBlo's simple tutorial (from 5 years ago) without any mistakes, yet my Robot Arena still crashes on startup

(Basically the exe loads, shows the "Infogrames" logo then it crashes)

Yeah, might need some help on this one.

What are you trying to do? Add more teams to your game?

It's fine, I fixed it this morning, it works now.

Check your bindings.py for errors.

Worst comes to worst, just replace your AI folder.

Yup, forgot to change the team name when copying it like a moron, cheers. Now, I don't suppose you have a fix for controlling a TS with AI? FBSPlus and ecoOmni are not helping. Currently it seems to enjoy doing nothing and then occasionally run straight into a wall.

Could you post a picture of said bot? Might be able to help you out a bit better. TS makes me think top spinner and in that case I'd imagine omni would do you fine.

Not exactly sure what a top spinner is but that is definitely a shell spinner, so FBSPlus or FBS_2 should work.

Shells and Top Spinners tend to be pretty different. Top Spinners are generally Jugglers with only 1 disc.
Shells I like using Omni or Spinner, anyway, to aid their mobility. If you want the marginal speed of rotation increase that FBSplus or whatever will give you, go for that, but you'll sacrifice translational speed.

Can't seem to get it working at all now. It's completely stationary with whatever .py. Doesn't move when being counted out either.

Have you set the drive to 'Forward' and 'LeftRight' and weapon to 'Spin'?

I did, since it worked before. Got it working though, just replaced the controls and it worked for whatever reason.
