Title: Crashing when Importing bots problem
Post by: PersonNameKy1e on February 24, 2018, 08:40:07 PM: I couldn't find a post that said something about this so I could only be me but for certain bot, when I go to import them into my team, the game crashes/encounters an error. It has done it to all three versions of the game i.e stock, DSL, and Ironforge. Is there something I'm doing wrong or just bad luck?

Post by: Squirrel_Monkey on February 24, 2018, 08:46:51 PM: Well you need to know what mod the bot uses. It will crash if the bot uses components that the version of the game doesn't have.

Post by: Asbestosstar on February 25, 2018, 01:07:34 AM: WHere did you download it from? What section? maybe it has custom components or IRL extneders. Do you have the IRL extenders from DSC? THey are comon on GTM.

Open the bot file with notepad++ and look through the components (should be in the middle for stock or at the bottom for anything else), then check if there are any component files you don't have. If there are any that are missing, that's why the game is crashing.

If I were you, I'd go to the Downloads section and then the Custom Components section, and as Asbestosstar said (rare moment where I actually agree with him for once) it could be the DSC IRL packs when you're trying to export bots in DSL 2.2.

Post by: Asbestosstar on February 26, 2018, 12:36:54 AM: you may of overwritten the current components, i will give you a dsl zip with the extenders buildt in, or most at least ok? Just replace the teams folder.
