Title: CRASHES WITH MY BOTS WHEN GOING INTO BATTLE!
Post by: BUBBAJL on June 30, 2012, 06:40:54 PM: I JUST DOWNLOAD THIS GAME AND TRYD EVERY THING IN MY POWER TO GET IT WORKING.
IT LETS ME CREATE BOTS AND TEST THEM BUT WHEN I TRY GOING TO BATTLE WITH THEM THE GAME CRASHES ALWAY. IV DOWNLOAD DIFFERNT COPY AND PATCHES BUT STILL DOESNT WORK.
NEED HELP MUCH OBLIGED. :dead:

Post by: BUBBAJL on June 30, 2012, 09:23:47 PM: sorry my caps lock is stuck.... BUT. I have the Robot Arena 2 v1.4 with the DSL V2.1 FULL DOWNLOAD for the mods. I installed the game to my program files (x86) after i extrected it to my desktop. Im 89% sure I put the mods in right. It want let me run it in older versions of windows. It allows me to play every thing elec but when i use my bot it crash. I know u need more info put idont know what i need to give u.

dont use any patches just unzip it and its ready to go

Post by: BUBBAJL on June 30, 2012, 11:09:44 PM: Ya that works fine its when i try to put in DSL V2.1 FULL DOWNLOAD by saga then it want let me use my bots. The only thing you do to put it in is transfer the folders.... do u transfer anything elce?

dont transfer your stock bots to dsl, just unzip each version of ra2 and play them separatly

Post by: BUBBAJL on June 30, 2012, 11:29:18 PM: So if i open the DSL V2.1 FULL DOWNLOAD and just play it. It should work but most of the time it crashes off the bat and when it load it cashes entering a battle.

Download DSL from sage's sig, extract it, play it but don't put bot you created without using dsl to your dsl

I downloaded the DSL V2.1 FULL DOWNLOAD it does not start up it crashes.
I download the Robot Arena 2 V1.4 FULL VERSION it doesnt have all the NEW PARTS but works 100%.
I deleted all the folders from Robot Arena 2 v1.4 and replaced them with only the folder from DSL V2.1.
It play but every time i use my bots to go battle it crashes.

But yall probably don't want me to haves yalles bots. If so try to make me a copy with no bots?.?.

Post by: Mecha on July 01, 2012, 09:55:26 AM: STEP 1: Temporarily get all your bots out of the RA2 (NOT DSL!) and put them in a folder on the desktop.
STEP 2: go back to the game, press the "Team HQ" button on the menu, select any team you made, if you haven't then made a team. make one.
STEP 3: when your in your new team you just made, on the bottom of the screen you will see a button called "Import bot" if you exported any of the bots you made, DO NOT IMPORT THEM! import "XTRA_Tailwhip.bot"
STEP 4: Pick Tailwhip in a battle, and if it crashes, you know it's not you bots.
