Hiya bot heads. havnt botted for some years but i jsut found about DSL so jsut installed a fresh RA2 and after a bit of fidling and patching i got DSL to work all seems good but whenever i enter the Compressor Arena none of the AI bots move and after about 15 seconds (plenty of time for me to drive around the map.. it is there) the game crashes out.

any ideas?

I think that happens to everybody with 2.0......the Beetle Bros were supposed to fix it, but seem to have dissapeared.

hmmm not so good...
is ther a work round for this or a way of removing compressor or exchanging so i can complete the series? against AI bots?

I don't know. I don't do DSL much and don't know much about arenas.....Madiaba is the only one around smart enough to answer that question.

try to edit the events and events_2player txt file on the main RA2 directory, changing the arena on the championship. or maybe just forfeit the championship.

ok well... i edit those files, and sure enough i now have parking lot in place of compressor... but it still exactly the same , no bot movement and crash after 10 secs or so.
thanks for the help. I guess ill jsut have to avoid crushers and forfeit series to get by

....unless anyone has any other ideas?

ACAMS you say you dont do DSL?? what is/are the alternatives? you play other mods or you play RA2 vanilla?

ACAMS, should I just post (or have you post on GTM) the fix for this problem? I gave it to CB for the 2.1 patch, but as you know, he's not been around....

did you fix all the "crash" maps or just the compressor? cause i have a few mins and was gonna try to fix them if i could.

70C, I ran across the Compressor, and then found the Ocean Platform arena glitches. I guess I'll give it to ACAMS, and let him deal with it..

Well I will add it to the download if you send it. Somebody should see what is wrong with El Diablo crash too.

ok thanks man. i wwas wondering if it was in the .py, GMF, or some where eles? ACAMS: ihad it working for a few days but i can take a look and see what i can find out.
