Cant get the @#$% hover engine to work!

Whenever I try to use a hover engine, my robot just flies straight up indefinitely at a high speed. I'm trying to make a SHW Pon2n, and no matter what I do, it glitches up. Sorry for being a n00b, but what am I doing wrong?

And yay, I'm finally a beetleweight!

If there is a component under the hover engine, it will fly upwards forever.

Oookay. Thanks. Now I know I need to get that six-mag out from under the engines. I'm assuming this is why Pon2n jumps up a bit whenever it fires the hammers?
