OK big thanks to Madiaba, inplabth, Sage, and Duck to helping me with the whole Fraps thing.

One problem though...
I cannot get Fraps to record sound. I have my master volume set to full, as well as all of the things in it (Wave, SW Synth, CD Player, and Line Volume) set above zero, and not muted. Fraps is set to record sound from "Detect Best sound input", and it still won't play. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. Make sure you have all the drivers, maybe even get new drivers. You have to get FRAPS to say "Direct Input" but I'm not quite sure how I got mine to do that xD

Fraps is good when you get it to work but be wary.

I've used it before, and after recording for some time the sound and video start coming out of sync.  You gotta keep starting and stopping it to avoid this.  I don't know if its just me, though.
