Title: Arenas not working
Post by: Olister92 on March 01, 2018, 03:52:37 PM: Apologises in advanced if this has been answered somewhere before but I had a look and couldn't find it.

I tried to use the RW S7 arena in DSL 2.2 so I copied the folder and the py. to go with it into the Areans folder of 2.2 but got this error when I tried to start the match

I've never tried adding arenas from different versions of RA2 before.

What did I do wrong folks?

Did you replace the files when asked?

Post by: Asbestosstar on March 01, 2018, 05:15:30 PM: I know if you run DSL on Windows XP, it does not get that error, try compatibility mode, it MAY work.

Post by: RedAce on March 01, 2018, 06:21:37 PM: Yeah, just use the link Silverfish provided. The issue is that the arena requires a special Hazards.py included in that download that makes the RWS7 Arena work.

Thanks for this, and everyone else for advice :) I swear I looked for this on the arena downloads and couldn't see it.
I think I need another eye test...

Edit - it works perfectly now :D
