HOW THE HELL DO YOU CHANGE/MAKE ARENA?!
 
whenever i try to edit the arena floor with paint the game crashes or doesnt load HELP!

what arena ? and what file(s) are you editing ?

It needs to be a .bmp AND EXACTLY the same size as the old one.

RA2 gets stuck at the notice about making real robots :(

Messing with the files without knowing what they do is dangerous for Robot Arena. We need more info before we can help you.

ok heres what i did
i copied robotwars arena and pasted it into arenas file
i renamed it gauntlet
i edited the floor and the crowd with paint
renamed them gauntlet floor and greycrowdwithsmiley

The py is (at least) looking for the arena folder, arena.gmf, and arena.bmp preview.
If you send it to me I'll fix it for you and show you how....

you need .py editing and GMF editing to successfuly duplicate and skin an arena


Mad will show you the rest, he is a great teacher  ;)

i will be fine
i got RA2 working on a fast computer not the peice of crap which is windows millenium :D
