Title: Any Suggestions?

I have the dl version of RA2.
I copied my origional game so i still have my stock version. :D

anyways, I installed dsl v1.00 and I placed the files in the correct places letting it overwrite files as i went along.
when i installed it the Team hq was working fine and so were the parts, well, all except the S3 disk.
but the game crashes when i try an exhibition match that doesn't involve Nightmare. so unless i fight nightmare, exhibition is unusable. :(

so have any of you got any ideas as to what is going wrong?

EDIT: just tested again, a few of the spinners work eg: ziggo, dreadnought
minion. but still alot of them dont work!

i HAVE done the same thing so i cood play stock but, only mine went fine, either my comp likes me or theres a bug, and when i did it nightmare was the only one i coodnt play with without a 25% chance of crashing but the game went well :)

I've never heard of that happening.  Did you install the right version of DSL 1.0?  There is a CD version and a downloaded version.

sounds to me like not all the AI components were copied correctly?

does this ONLY happen during exhibition, or during tournaments as well?

Right, Just tested tournament and the same thing happens so, the answer to your question Goose is yes it does not work on either tournament or exhibition.

So...what should I do?

oh, and by the way click, I think i did download the correct version... :P

Well this moron just wanted to test out DSL. i thought i would just try to get DSL v1.00 to work and
then try DSL v2.00 but, so far i havent had any luck.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...

the dsl 2.0 for the downloaded version is buried somewhere in the forums

I know, i cant find it. i might try completely reistalling DSL v1.0 but to be honest i have no clue as to whether it will help. :(

EDIT: just got DSL v2.0 to work,  this time i downloaded the dl version, sorry i feel like such a idiot. :oops:
