Could you show us the AI code, bot wiring, frontal position, smartzone, the bot you're trying to replace, and other important stuff like that?

I'm no expert, but I just might be able to help you out.

What guide to AI'ing did you follow? Also, provide the information WB asked for.

This is the smartzone.

The wiring. Everything is spelled right.
After that I exported it as Bot2. I went in the Robot Designs and copyed Bot2 and replaced it with Maelstrom(Since that was the exaple the tutorial gave) Then I renamed Bot2,Bot2.Maelstrom(As the tutorial said.)
Here is the folder.

2 things.

 - Maelstrom isn't anything like Walrus. Replace another Poker instead.

 - The .Maelstrom at the end is probably the problem.

You're supposed to export your bot, and delete maelstrom and copy your bot in that folder and rename your bot's file to Bot 2 there.
Basically you are replacing the slot that bot took, with your bot.

And have you actually edited the bindings file? If you haven't, that would be another reason why it's crashing.

O.K. I got rid of the .Maelstrom and now I can click the computer thingy without the game crashing. BUT now when I try to fight Walrus and I click Start Game, The window Abnormal Runtime Error pops up.

Like Scorpion said, have you even edited the bindings? If you have, show us them. There's probably an unnecessary comma or something in there.

Besides renaming it, I guess that would only matter if you were putting the bots in a new team...

But anyway, Maelstrom doesn't have a smartzone. That could be messing it up. Try replacing Kraken or another Poker.

I grabbed Bot2 and replaced it with Kracken. Same thing. Should I delete or replace Maelstrom. Bot2 is still in Maelstroms spot.

Fight a normal AI robot that you haven't messed with yet. Does it still crash?

You need to change the 'bindings' file in the AI folder. Open it and you'll see a load of nasty code. You need to replace the bot you've taken out with the bot you're putting in.

I cleaned this up a bit

YOU EITHER PROVIDE HELP OR DONT POST IN THIS SECTION AT ALL

-----------------------------------

Those Bindings are really messy and will give you a bit of a hard time..

You need to find the name of what robot you replaced inside that Bindings text file

Then replace that name (just the name) with the name of your robot

Then test..

If it works thats the first part done and we can move onto step 2 when you fix up your robots direction and strategy
