So I installed Actioncam, however all the movement always seems to make the game a bit blurry, is there any fix to this and has anyone else had this issue before?
-
Can you record it? I've never seen this before, sounds very odd.
Is it just on action cam? Do you have a GPU?

Currently uploading a video, dunno if it's just me not being used to it but it looks blurry every time bots move at high speed. I've tried checking if there's any difference with the F2 camera fix/fps lock to 60 and there wasn't.
I have a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti, no settings changed, the only thing I did was add a Profile for Robot Arena 2 with all settings unchanged minus the 60 FPS fix, but even without that profile it happens.

Here's the video, don't think it's noticeable until YT has higher quality available:

I don't see it mate, there doesn't seem to be any motion blur there. Maybe it's something to do with your monitor?

Same here, I can't see any motion blur.

Yeah it isn't really visible in the video and it isn't too much blurr, it just looks odd but I think that's because I never used actioncam before(using the F2 camera feels somewhat similar so it's probably just all the fast movement happening while the usual watch camera feels more static).

it can be blurry on my end too. the camera basically just jitters really fast, making it look blurry.
as for a fix, no idea.

Oh I see, thanks for the info. I didn't like the zoom in/out it does during the victory spin either. Trov once mentioned working on a new orbit cam which was basically action cam v2 but dunno if we will ever see that.

Ye its good if the robots are slow but with any robot moving quick it looks blurry as hell would be great if someone made a fix for it, or just hope that the second version comes out?

The jittering would be less noticeable with a lower tick interval but it would lag behind the bots more. You can change this with a single line of code but some arenas need higher/lower tick intervals so the V1 action cam didn't change it.
If I remember correctly, the V2 action cam has code so that it doesn't move as fast for the little movements. That should reduce the jittering significantly.

Wow, you're really back, people have been worried and wondering what happened.
I see, thought there were too many view updates. V2 also has a new orbit view from what I remember?

That is correct. The primary goals of the V2 action cam are to make the action cam more extensible and replace the orbit cameras.
