Incompatible program versions???

About 2/3 of the time I try to join an online multiplayer game, this pops up, and I can't join. Any clue how to fix it or what I can do? Thanks.

Don't remember, but that's probably a "they're running 1.3 and you're not" sort of thing. Or the other way around.
