Shapeshooter: A Unity Game I Created
« on: December 19, 2014, 08:37:50 PM »
So, I created a game in one week on the Unity Engine called "Shape Shooter". The game's point is to shoot shapes, as the title suggests. I hope you guys try it and like it. I might add slight adjustments to the game in the future. Also, if you fly off the map (you're supposed to eventually) or glitch out, then press the R button to restart. Have fun!  :gunz:

Shoot shapes how would that work?

For an indie game made in one week, this is rather good. If you kept working on it, this game could become great.

Here are some things I like about it:
  • The idea of shooting rampaging cylinders is rather comical
  • The controls are simple and intuitive
  • The textures don't look too bad

Here are some things that I think need work:
  • The aiming controls are far too sensitive
  • There is no health system; adding one would make the game more challenging and more fun
