ive noticed a lot of people here are pretty damned good with using the unity engine, which is great for making mobile games. i've also seen robot combat games done in flash and shockware (like the one that was on miniclip for a long time). has anyone considered making a robot combat game for mobile devices? i think it would introduce a whole new audience to the games and to the community, and who wouldnt want the ability to play something like this on the go? there are far more complex games than ra2 for mobile devices nowadays, i'm sure if it was packed up properly and the controls mapped in the right way you could probably get ra2 on a phone at this point. anyone think robot combat on mobile is a good idea?
heck, there's money in this idea. i'd love to help if anyone wants to try this

dezox got ra2 to work on his phone a while back so theres definitely something here.

say whaat? is there a thread where this happened? that's a hell of a head start if i've ever heard one
ive been thinking about it all day. the biggest roadblock i thought of was rotating components or shifting them when you place them. i guess holding the component in place with one finger and then rotating with the other by moving in a circular manner and shifting up and down by moving straight vertically? then place it down with a double tap i guess. idk
just thoughts

If he did post a thread, it's been deleted. Unless it wasn't dezox and I'm thinking of someone else...

It's a nice attempt but I don't think it can be very well executed.

Too much lags

man thats ill
but yeah it doesnt have to be ra2 itself. it could be something simpler done from the ground up for optimal phone compatibility
