Game Maker Botz!!!! VERSION 1.4 NOW AVAILABLE!!

Well, I made a little game. It won't take long to download, but it's in early develepment.

SUPER-OMEGA IMPRTANT NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE EITHER THE SOUNDS NOR THE ARENA SKIN!!!! I DID PROGRAM AND MAKE THE BOTS. (All credit is to the DSL team for the arena texture and colision sounds.) THIS FONT SIZE IS PROBABLY TOO BIG!
I made a video, but my WMM stopped working; I guess the no pic no click rule may piss some of you off... sorry.

EDIT: For thos who would rather not download, I'll have an upload you can play online tomarrow.

Oh, whew! Well, don't hold your breath... It's pretty bad ATM. I'll improve sprites, bots, matches, AI and whatnot... Sooner or later. XD

I guess I should mention: It's 2 player only ATM...

Also, does SG's blade spin? I may have messed up the exe, because it doesn't work for me... I might have to redo the animation.

EDIT: Version 1.4 adds a selection screen and new UI. (Looks more profesional...)

i tried and boy, you have some stuff to fix.

i downloaded that 1.4 from that yoyo site (as i do not need any useless plug-ins) and opened it. in the arena, all you do is bounce about and nothing happens. clearer buttons are needed in the main menu and most importantly, a way to exit the damn game. what this did was bug my entire computer, forcing me to reboot. Alt+Tab, Alt+F4 and Alt+Ctrl+Delete did NOT work. when i pressed and held the power button of my PC, the game did close, so i cancelled the rest of the shut down (as it was taking its time to close the rest) and found myself unable to type anything at all. so that game also caused my keyboard to stop working. now rebooted, i got rid of that game and got to post here.

Serge, maybe specify your reason for saying "this game sucks". i have my reason for it, as seen in my previous post. but just saying something in the sense of 'this sucks' isn't helping anything. it is unclear and won't help the one who made this in any way. with my previous post, Joo now actually knows what he should work on, if he wants to bring improvement to his game.

Well for starters he could cite the fact that you bounce off walls like a pinball and retain your speed, or that the weapons aren't even functional, or that the weapons have a tendency to not turn off and continue to assault your ears with noise or that you can bounce back and forth off the arena walls so fast that it eventually breaks the game, amongst other things.

Ugh.

I don't even know where to start. Is this even a game? If so, what's the goal? How do I win? Are there any points? Can you even win? Can you even lose?

If this was supposed to have something to do with robot combat, then I have a few more questions: Why do the bots bounce like ping-pong balls? Why are there absolutely no physics? Why don't the robots turn, but instead seem to have omni wheels? Why spinning weapons don't actually change anything? Do the bots ever get destroyed? Do they even get damaged at all?

This is bloody GameMaker, you just made a basic project, created two objects, slammed on textures, and you want us to think that it's a game. It's not. I can make more fun games using .bat files, or on my TI calculator during boring classes, and it's not that I ever received any formal education in any of these.

EDIT: Actually, disregard that, I suck cocks. I just saw that I tested an old version. BRB!
EDIT2: A bit better. But everything apart non-turning is still valid.
