Tbf, I'll just be happy if Upstart goes back to 3. Until then, I gotta throw in 2 slow cards in my DDD deck. Actually, even though I have no idea why a DDD deck would run Allure (because we don't like things out of reach, we like targets in grave), I may test out Allure and swap my Upstarts with 2 Allures. I'll see how it does. If I end up without fusion/Ragnarok fodder, I'll have to find something else suitable.

I'm sure that'll be fun. Gotta admit that I don't like banishing from the hand in Raidraptors, Allure does dig deeper and then I can see what I don't really need. Raidraptors can go hard enough anyway.

Also were you able to see the deck pics from the other link I shared?

Yeah, looks alright. Not the biggest fan of r4nk gadgets (or r4nk spam at all, much.) Is Double Summon necessary? I'd imagine you won't need it when you have that Fish along with Dino pendulums. I've tried adding Starlight Road into a Evilswarm deck of mine but it always ending up clogging a bit, how well does it work for you?

Dinomists don't show up often for me, match-up wise, but, for the ones that I have faced, I've beat them. Do you do well with this deck? With Dinomists and Metalphosis, I'm not sure I'm liking the pendulum  archetypes Konami are putting out. I actually like PePe, believe it or not. Artwork looks nice and plays (played  ;)) well. The only other I think I like are DDD's but they're more of a pick 'n' mix archetype with everything going on and I never set scales with my DDD's, it's just fusion and xyz.

I did find myself having use for Double Summon actually. I could have run a 3rd fish, but he can only special lvl 4 monsters, so my tuners would be left out. So that's why.
As for Starlight Road, it works very well for me. Before when it was still pure Dinomist I ran 2 and it got activated quite some times. But sometimes 2 just just too much, but 1 is perfect. Does also help that with my scales I have more targets.

Overall the deck does very well and it gives me a nice amount of options usually. Much better than pure Dinomist. Plus that the Gadgets help the deck nicely. Even if I get a Anti-Spell Fragrance in my face, that deck will still have options due to it not being fully Pendulum focused. A limited amount of options, but still. ... And they look like steam powered dinosaurs. I love it. But I often like mechanical styled monsters and whatnot.

I suppose so. I actually think I have an aversion to Machines in Yugioh. I'm not a fan of the artwork of most of them, especially Dinomist.

Anyway, Allure seems to work fine as I usually draw into what I need or I get rid of D/D Fodder (Galilei). So, I have one more spot in my side deck because rip Wavering Eyes. I'm thinking about Poisonous Wind for the rogue Majespecter match-up because, as a guy that used to run them (may get back to it), I know they can be a b*tch to handle. What do people think?

Why run double summon gadgets when you can run chain summoning gadgets.....

Reading that card... Yeah I don't really see myself getting to activate that card that much. I'll stick to Double Summon seeing as I could activate that at any desired time.

@Yugitom: To each his own I guess. As for what to play instead of Wavering in side. I'd say Spell-Shattering Arrow. That's what I did anyway.

That's great, but no Kagetokage and this is Gadgets mixed in Dinomist. It's not going to work in Dinogadgets. Double Summon does the job without any real restrictions and is generally more than enough for this deck.

Lol sometimes paying attention helps. But yeah, it's a hybrid and the Gadgets support Dinomist very well. I don't run much of the lvl 5 Dinomists though. Only a few for Infinity option... Or Shark Fortress if I really want to.

With the new gadgets coming up, I really wanna see how a pure gadget deck would do. 3 of all of them with the rest of the deck being tech and stuff. Could be cool. I know I hate r4nk but I really do wanna try out the new gadgets when they come to the TCG.

So, I know it's pretty much me, powerrave, eco and Kill throwing stuff in here nowadays but are any of you guys interested in a fun little tournament? It'd only work if you guys have mates that are willing to participate. Perhaps there'd be a gimmick like a deck archetype pool or the Pegasus rule, something along those lines. Kinda wanted to do this for a bit and DN tournaments don't cut it for me because there's no real host participation and I'd like to record most, if not all, of the matches. It'll be a laff and would be cool if any of you guys could get any mates on board if you feel like doing this.

By the way, I'm asking this now in light of DN kinda being back up if you use this link: http://www.duelingnetwork.com/?card_image_base=http://www.yugioh.party/lowres/
I know some people here don't like DN but we all know each other and are all familiar with the rules, so I'd rather host a tournament on that instead of YGO/DevPRO.

I haven't followed this stuff in ages but I know my brother is still pretty good at it. You can put me down as a solid maybe if you decide to host a tournament.

Ah, cool, this is a nice reception. Before I do any post akin to signups, I'll let us agree on the gimmick/rules. For a little bit of freedom in deck choice but not to deter anyone like eco, perhaps we could go for a 'nowhere close to the meta' tournament, in which, not only can you not pick from the meta but, for sportsmanship, you musn't pick DDD's, Water (Mermails), Qlis, etc.

If no one raises any objections to this suggestion, I'll make the next post I make the signups post.

I play occasionally, so I may join this tournament, once I get this DN thing. I'll have to make a decent deck, as well, because my irl one is :dumb)

I prefer to run non-meta decks anyway (unless you count skull servants 'meta' :V)
