Never quite seen a deck like yours before. Don't think it would survive in the current format but it looks pretty cool. Still, it killed me inside to Tour Guide and Chain at 3 and a deck with Instant Fusion without Norden.

I knew I was forgetting something when making the extra deck. Still, using his own monster for game is fun. As for the opponent, at least it wasn't the game's Starter Deck, which is pure garbage... And noobs bring that in ranked games.

the deck I used... Well I like using more original things. and still having chain in this game is really helpful. Tour Guide is at 2 though.

Anyone here play Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM? I have done and I think it's a pretty good, fast-paced game. It's a nice time waster, but it's a shame it's almost play to play/win. So, I have started work on making it free via Tabletop Simulator. God, why did I do this? The following screenshot is not even the entire first pack released for BAM (A Newcomer in Alba Litora, has a lovely abbreviation):

So... I wanna kill myself because of the new banlist. Upstart at one? Why? They may as well just make a public statement saying they wanna screw over older decks that don't have much draw power compared to all the new decks. I'm glad Chicken Game is gone but limiting Upstart just wasn't needed.

The problem is that the decks that generate their own advantage can also just play upstart on top of that to play a 37 card deck. It's no secret that they want people playing the new stuff, that's how they sell product. Why do you think pendulums are pushed so hard, just as nekroz got banned to smithereens?

Oh yeah, of course but the meta decks have something to replace Upstart with, such Kozmo and BA with their new Allure. People on Reddit think that they're hitting Chicken Game and Upstart because of Monarch F/OTK or just Monarchs in general but they don't need Upstart. Perhaps Magical Explosion Monarchs do but why don't they just ban Life Equalizer and Magical Explosion? They're the real problem.

Oh well, I'm still gonna be running a 39 card deck with D/D/D's. I've lost 2 cards from my main deck and one from my side (Wavering Eyes.) People are throwing around DD's name in the Reddit thread but I really don't think the ban list helps us at all. Allure banishes my lovely fusion fodder and I can't pick them up from the grave, either. Can't wait until we're past Kozmo and Monarchs in upcoming formats because I despise them. In fact, I could put up with PePe more than them (I hate Kozmo because they're actually too strong, I mostly beat Monarchs but everyone plays them, so I get annoyed when I see them.) With pendulum decks, spell destruction is key but it's so easy to side that stuff in, so why are they getting hit?

Also, it shouldn't have been Norden that got hit, it should've been Instant Fusion.

I disagree with the last part. Instant fusion has been perfectly fine until noden came out. It's noden that was the problem. Hitting IF just hurts other decks that use it, punishing them because a new card that they don't even play exists. It's like how Laval's lost rekindling once firefist abused it. Or dragunities losing Ravine because konami released dragon rulers. I have when they do that.. Make an older deck unplayable because some new unbalanced BS that they released. I was a Laval player with a full foiled out main and extra including staples and Quasar back when it cost 90 bucks. My entire build was at one point worth around $400. And then because konami doesn't know how to balance new decks, I lost the core cardnof my deck.

i dont really mind the new banlist, i run level ones so thousand eyes restrict coming back is something im completely fine with as it allows me to branch out (first level one deck i made was for dystopia the despondent, i realise now that was dumb) and in terms of the draw power im not bothered too much provided they STAY FAR AWAY from heart of the underdog since i run a couple normal monster decks such as gigos, normal pendulums and level 6 synchro spam.

You are right but people usually run 1-2 Norden, anyway and then just run 3 IF because you only usually see people getting Norden out once a duel. I've heard it said a few times on YouTube and Reddit that, with Norden, just leave him alone or ban him, there's no real point in doing anything in-between. If any of them should be banned, it's Norden, if any of them deserves to be limited, I think IF makes more sense than Norden.

Eco, you obviously don't mind the ban list because you don't play competitively ('running level ones' will land you in the 'Other' statistic at a YCS.) Heart of the Underdog will never get hit because it isn't broken/even that good.

Personally the banlist seems alright to me. The Upstart to 1 is odd and I thing a little uncalled for, but okay. That did hammer into my plans for my Raidraptors, but then seeing Allure going to 2... Okay I'm not even mad. Slighty disappointed maybe in Upstart to 1, but for me it doesn't hurt as much.
Wavering Eyes hit had me edit my Dinomist Gadget deck since I ran 1 main and 2 side. 2 side replaced with Spell-Shattering Arrow. 1 main replaced with a Time-Space Trap Hole, and worked a Rafflesia into the extra deck now. In the end it didn't hurt my deck that much to be honest.

Anyway, apart from the Adjusted List changes we already knew about, I think this ban list is terrible. I just don't want to keep running into Kozmo and BA, two decks I really hate. I really couldn't care less about Monarchs because they're just a glorified draw engine, now.

I don't mind the list too much and don't think it's that terrible.
Kozmo don't get hit because Konami is still making money from them. Same may be for BA since it's played a lot again. Only the Upstart hit I'm like "why even".
