Weekly/Fortnightly game nights
« on: July 08, 2014, 01:39:36 PM »
So I got to thinking recently and thought it would be quite a nice idea to have game nights every so often on GTM, mainly free-to-play games like TF2, Cards Against Humanity or any other suggestion that people might make. Suggestions for improvements or feedback will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:Added poll.
Rules:
1.The previous week's winner will not be put in the poll for the next week.
2.Game's must have a working multiplayer for more than 4 people.

I think that around 8 BST is probably the best time for it because that's wouldn't be stupidly late or stupidly early for most timezones, seeing as the most active timezones are America and European that would probably be the best time.

Pretty good idea. I also like Playzooki's idea, too. We can have skype groups. And you know what, we should have a GTM Gaming channel or something (that's just an idea). If possible, we could play games that some have already bought (Mario Kart 8, Call of Duty, Minecraft, ect.)

I'd recommend at Eastern Time (Toronto, Ontario's time), I'd do it at 7:00-10:00.

Mostly a lurker and Sm4sh Bros. player nowadays. :3

I'd join this. The Skype thing does seem like a good idea. As for the gaming channel, if that was to be taken seriously, you'd need someone dedicated to the channel.

maybe we could alternate between uk and us time zones?
That sounds good but if we could find a sweet spot where everyone is available, then we should try that time first.

I would do this but the only genre I play these days are JRPGs.

I've moved to other forums. Under a different name. This is where it all began.

Same here. By the way, are we doing this on consoles and pc, or just console or just pc? I'm fine with whatever.

If any of you guys have risk of rain, I'm able to set up a working server.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Mostly PC but if enough people wanted to I could add console games to the poll, but somebody else would have to host it/organise it

This sounds cool. I'd come along for whatever I could. TF2 would be my first pick as well.
