The thing I want is evidence that violent games actually impact kids.

I won't argue. Here is your evidence:

The thing I want is evidence that violent games actually impact kids.

Not only violent games, violent media in general. While I was waiting for a taxi to take me home, there were a couple of poor kids on the sidewalk playing with some sort of toy. When one kid kept the toy to himself, the other ones mouthed him off like a drunken rapper. Then they all went WWE on him after that. Being kids, I'm pretty sure those blows didn't hurt that much, but I'm also sure those moves came from television. Those parents had enough money to send them to a decent school, yet they spent the cash on a color television, hair dye and an air conditioning unit.

I've read that an FBI report that violent crimes have gone down in the US for the past 20 years.

*agrees with this*

If the parents don't make good choices and buy kids M-rated games, it's their fault. The government shouldn't be interfering. This is why everything's going to heck.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Those shooting were caused by mental instability, not games.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

When they investigated Seung-Hui Cho, the boy who killed people in V-Tech, they found no evidence of him "training" on violent video games. He was actually writing disturbing poetry (IIRC).
