So I was playing this game with a friend of mine in a dark room on an old, battered PS2. We find this broken elevator shaft, and after wasting all my pistol ammo trying to hit the thing that was jamming the mechanism, we finally get it working. We ride it to the first floor which is very dark. We stumble out trying to find a light switch, and fail. My friend decides to waste his precious flashlight battery to aid us finding the switch. He swaps on the flashlight, and in the corner we see this fat creature of tentacles and hair, staring at us. Its darkness spreads across the floor, too dark to be lit up by the flashlight. I quickly pull out my ready loaded shotgun, and fire every shell I have at the thing. The shotgun sound change into a *click* *click* *click* and the thing is slightly wounded, but far from dead. This is when larvae start to pour out beneath it, slowly making their way towards us. The flashlight dies and all we see is black, waiting for a 'game over'.

One to think about is in Sleeping Dogs when you're on a motorway on a motorbike at full speed doing a wheelie against traffic and flying up a ramp or up the bonet of a sportscar.. Or even off the road on a high bridge altogether and going in slow-mo.
