World of Warcraft -Pioneer of subscription-based gaming

This may be true, but it wasn't as big a pioneer as people think it is. Everquest and Ultima Online were the true pioneers of subscription-based gaming. World of Warcraft's just the most successful.

You know better than I, I'm not into that kind of thing.  What was the first MMO to offer in-game goods for real money?

you people are OFF

Call of duty black ops has to be the most technologically advanced game, and beats any other ever released.

You are actually still all off. The fact that no one has brought up quake yet makes me SICK. Not only that, but Half Life, COD1, DOOM, Wolfenstein, and duck hunt.
