-The Gameboy
-Online gaming
-3-D games (not like the 3-d glasses)

N64 - First console with analog sticks
Xbox Live - Changed online gaming and made it easier

The first CD based console was Commodore's Amiga CD32. Released in 1993. Sega CD was released in 1994.

This is very much true. =] Though when it comes to early FPS's (1992 and further back) I like Wolfenstein 3D.
