This is true. People wanted the game to be good but unfortunately, it isn't in most people's eyes. I actually rather like the game, that was the reason for adding it to Tabletop.

Thank God I made this though, it means that a sensible man who knows about robotic combat can edit the base game into something that is up to date and isn't as complex.

Other than that... Version 1.1 has been released!

New Features:

+Snapping for the board is turned off by default
To make adding arenas easier.

+Updated tokens
Front and Back are now indicated.

+Added new arena
The new Robot Wars arena from the 2016 show. Originally created by RoboBowler, edited by Captain Lord Nigel.

+Simplified rules
Deleted useless sections to cut down size of rules.

+Small other changes
Put arenas into a bag and changed names of the dice.

It already was a board game dude, if that is what you mean. Was released physically ages ago, this is a version made for the Tabletop Simulator.

An update on this just to make sure everyone is clear on the development.

The game is fully finished, however, the rules and mechanics have been updated. A first playtest was done about a month ago and it was pretty successful. A lot more so than the first version of the game.

I'll be clearing up the rules some more and adding a few more adjustments to the unique abilities given to weapons and it should be ready for a second playtest.

After that, should be ready for release.

tl;dr - Making a total conversion mod, should be released soon-ish.
