I'm hearing some really polarizing things about this one.

Pretty much my thoughts to a T.

Yay more Fire Emblem .-.
No offense but to me they all look the same.
Also Bayonetta? Not a bad choice, however DEFINITELY not the winner of the ballot.. Can't imagine how many Goku/Ridley/Daisy/Shadow/Banjo/Shrek whatever votes they had to go through before reaching her. Obviously trying to push something, similar to when they added Pit to push the Kid Icarus series.

I'm just gonna predict Sora 4 smash. Either that, or Gabe Newell.

I told you they wouldn't show up, anyways I'm pretty happy bayonetta made it frankly, she looks really fun to play with but I am sad that shovel night didn't show up (or Shrek but that was to be expected)

And before TRB rages like a mad man, you got your fire emblem fates, be grateful for at least that!

looks like bayoneta's gonna be the SS rank for sm4sh. Didn't expect Corrin/Kamui, though. Looks like I'm gonna be buying a couple more Amiibo.

So, my day with smash has been mostly... Cloudy.  [/lamepun]

Seriously, he's awesome.  I think he may be my favorite DLC character of Sm4sh thus far.  He's simple and easy to pick up, hits like a tank, is pretty agile, and has his cool limit break function.  If I do have one problem with him though, is that his recovery feels stiff and kinda sucks.  It's kinda like Little Mac with how he doesn't snap to the ledge with his Up-B, except it has some distance.  Still, I've had great fun using him and I've overall liked how he handles overall.

Any other thoughts on him?

obligatory thoughts on new dlc characters post go go go

I've been playing around with Corrin and Bayonetta this morning and I'm pretty pleased with them.

Corrin is mostly the usual Fire emblem Sword character with a few twists.  He/She has a few twists with the Neutral B and Side B which still has me trying to adapt to him/her with how to actually use it, but nothing to complex.  Overall, He/She is alright and I've already found a couple kill moves that might be like his/her bread and butter kills in the competitive scene.

Bayonetta on the other hand, is not as easy to use.  She's fun to play with, don't get me wrong, but I got a couple things that isn't quite natural to me.  Her bullet arts is quite unique and she has some great combo potential.  Her recovery options are ridiculous though.  Because you can use her Up-B > Jump > Another Up-B > a Side B to recover.  As someone who has been playing Smash for a long time, this is a case where muscle memory can harm you if you wanna main her.  You really need a lot of dedication if you plan on getting great use out of her.  She's fine, but just hard to get used to.

What are your thoughts on these two?

Might try Bayonetta, coming from a Melee background I can probably manage a more dynamic character like her
