And game-breaking glitches, don't forget tons of glitches and replicas that are horribly incorrect.

Also very limited customization options in RW:ED
-
RW:ED isn't worthy of even being compared to SFTW.
-
Back in the day, I used to play it quite a bit. Even with all its problems and how it can't really compare to RA2, I think it's still quite decent in its age- I always liked playing as Chaos 2 and attacking the House Robots in the RW Arena.

I am the kind of player who would prefer to make their own robot, that play as one of the pre-existing bots.
So from that you should be able to tell why i hate that game so much ;P
Oh, and the judges were morons!

It's a bit of both for me- I like to create robots, yet it's also fun to drive around as the ones from the TV series- Diotoir was a prime example, being able to catch fire and all :3
And indeed- in the words of Chris Sorsby from Team Mortis, I pushed them out, I had all the attacks, and I think I should have won- never mind the fact that Barrabis poked me with its wedge tip.

What you should do is take the textures from RW:ED, and port them into RA2 (i.e. make it .BMP, 256x256, etc.)

Or at least very similar textures- several of the chassis have rounded bits on them that can't be emulated without components and things.

Needs to happen
And it's kinda like RA2 is CoD 4 and RW:ED is CoD 5, RW is crap, but still a ton of fun

I must thank ED.. its what caused me to search for a better Robot Combat game.. which lead me here.. :P
