I didn't find the voice acting in FFX that bad, a little cheesy yeah but that's to be expected in a game like final fantasy. Seymour, Jecht, Wakka etc. were all voiced well i only found tidus and yuna a little cheesy really :P

I loved the combat, loved most the characters, loved the maps, loved blitzball and seymour is one of the best bad guys i've fought against in video games.. he genuinely ticks you off after the 1 millionth fight (you just wish he'd die already) lol which is a good thing.

I can't really remember every last one of the games I loved on older consoles, so I will just do a list of the ones that I can remember

Crash Bandicoot (all the PS1 ones)
Spyro (the three for the PS1)
Muppets Racing
Ape Escape
Final Fantasy (I, II, V, and VI, and VIII don't count because I have yet to play them/properly play them, and if XI counts, I haven't played that one either)
Theme Park World
Pokemon Stadium
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (I really want to play Majora's Mask)
Star Wars Racing
Diddy Kong Racing
Mario Kart 64
Clayfighter 64
...That game on the N64 where you play as a star that I can only vaguely remember, all I can really remember is that he had stretchy arms, and I can only barely remember some of the places...the only other thing I can remember is that it was 3D
Banjo Kazooie
Super Mario 64
Sonic Adventure
Soul Calibur
Wizkid
Sensible Soccer
Another World (I haven't ever gotten that far in it because it is hard as heck if you don't know what to do, it is mostly trial and error, but I still had a bit of fun)
Flashback (not really done too much in this either)
Pokemon (since this is the retro thread, whatever ones you class as being retro, although I think that my favourite was Silver/Goold/Crystal)
Tetris
Super Mario
Tony Hawks (the one for the Game Boy Colour)
Pokemon Trading Card Game
Yu-Gi-Oh
And since I am getting bored of trudging through my memory, I will put one PS2 game here; I-Ninja, one of the games that I am looking to get again because of how much I enjoyed it.

And a whole load of other games that I can't remember at the moment.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

Tidus's character in general is something I find pretty annoying (a little worse than Cloud from FF7), but I've never been a JRPG person. In terms of the settings, they kick ass (if a western RPG used the same styling as FF it would be awesome), but the characters are rather bland or just stupid IMO. I kinda like FF6 because it's not really about one or two individual characters, but it's still not great in that area and the plot's forgettable.

Vectrex time! A lot of people don't even know this insanely awesome console exists which is a damn shame, it could have been bigger then the NES if it weren't for the games crash so I'm here to show you just how revolutionary this console was.

*Vector grahpics - could give games the illusion of 3D and provided very sharp and bright graphics:

*Overlays: Gave games color, provided control explanation and a little UI (player 1 and player 2 score positions etc.):

*Built-in controller and screen!:

All this and more featured on this epic console that was released in 1982 in north america! the vectrex was truely ahead of it's time.

I spent a lot of time playing Civilization II for PS1. I woke up every day at 4-5 A.M. and played it until seven o'clock usually, because school started at eight so I needed to be ready.
Also i played Crash Bandicoot and Tekken a lot. My father even owned a club, where everybody was able to play on PS1(not for free). He always played Tekken and a lot of other games better than me because of it.
Before PS1 i had got a Sega Mega Drive, i think it's called Sega Genesis in U.S., and there was a lot of cool games too. Mortal Kombat 3 was pretty decent, and game called Columns III was great too, i still play it sometimes using a emulator.
(Can somebody find mistakes in that text? I want to make my English a bit better.)

Only realistic DSL. Yes exceptions.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Everyone has already mentioned the original 3 Crash and Spyro games, so I don't need to mention them(Spyro 2 is the best, IMO)
And Crash Team Racing is still one of the greatest games ever.

Future Cop L.A.P.D. - Kickass PS1 game, in which you go fight crime as a police mech that transforms into a hovercar.
Also, yes, that is me playing it.

I really need to get a copy of SimCity 3000 UK Edition and re-play that bad boy some time. I remember choosing a city that was pre-built and demolishing it with tornadoes and sh**. It was fun.
