So if these rumors are true how many people will buy games and never play them to see their value skyrocket after a number of years?
-
I thought that was just a silly rumor?
-
If they're gonna play it that way, they might as well do away with discs completely and make it digital purchase only. Otherwise, that's a major opportunity for scam artists to reseal used discs and pass them off as new. I'll bet you anything there's going to be a report of that within a year of the console's release.

No thanks, I'd rather I actually owned what I bought.

Me too, but given the choice between something that will prevent fraud and something that opens the door wide open for it, which would you choose?

these same rumors were said about the ps3 when it was still in development so i wouldn't take them too seriously.

I missed those rumors somehow, but with the economy the way it is I think they will try and get every dollar they can and used games sales hurts their pockets.
-
It has nothing to do with the economy... What it does have to do with is greed.

PC master race!

I won't buy a game unless it's on Steam. But most of that is down to the fact that my disc drive enjoys murdering everything that it comes into contact with.

Seriously though. You claim to have the best gaming PC possible, but your disc drive doesn't even work...

No I don't... I have a gaming PC, but it's pretty average (If not slightly below) for gaming PCs.

How? You said he shouldn't brag about having the best gaming PC ever when his disc drive doesn't work and he said he doesn't.

Do you always have to bring up your PC in like every thread along with the simple problem that it has that can be easily fixed by buying a new disc drive for like $20.
