well I got lucky as I kept running into him randomly enough to wear him down into red so I could get him with a Quick Ball ^_^

Also I managed to teach Anubis Psychic. I want to replace Hex with Protect to make it the ultimate shield (I gave it a Leftovers too lol)

Found a working rom for White on Monday. Team is pretty low level right now, I basically have a lvl 22 Dewott, lvl 19 Blitzle and a lvl 19 Tympole. Still looking to fill out my team but with some more type coverage. I'm at Pinwheel forest. Any ideas?

You won't be able to with the version you have (I believe you have White, yes?)

You can find it elsewhere though
