Bump.

I see a Groudon on the cover. I am interested.

Anyways, just got into pokemon, was wondering if these are going to be exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS or will there be other platforms?

Probably just the 3DS, Pokemon has long been exclusive to the Nintendo handhelds, and the company needs to keep it that way to keep their heads above water.

So I'm gonna have to save up for a 3DS then. Ugh.

So I made a ridiculous gimmick team.  Shouldn't be too hard to see what the gimmick is.

"Verderben" Hydreigon
Modest nature, 252 SAtk/252 Spe/4 HP
Choice Scarf
U-Turn / Dark Pulse / Dragon Pulse / Flash Cannon

"Cybele" Exeggutor
Bold nature, 252 HP/128 Def/128 SDef
Harvest
Sitrus Berry
Leech Seed / Substitute / Sleep Powder / Giga Drain

"Kevin" Dodrio
Jolly nature, 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP
Early Bird
Silk Scarf
Return / Brave Bird / Quick Attack / Knock Off

"Undertaker" Dugtrio
Jolly nature, 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP
Life Orb
Arena Trap
Earthquake / Stone Edge / Sucker Punch / Hone Claws

"M-Tron" Magneton
Modest nature, 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 Spe
Eviolite
Sturdy
Thunderbolt / Volt Switch / Flash Cannon / Hidden Power Ice

"Trigona" Combee
Timid nature, 252 SAtk/252 Spe/4 HP
Focus Sash
Endeavor / Tailwind / Bug Buzz / Sweet Scent

Yep, that's a Combee in there... a male one... that I taught B/W tutor moves.

Team could be better, but there's only so much you can do when limited to three-headed Pokemon.  :laughing  I can't be bothered to breed perfect IVs for a gimmick team, or throw down 200 BP to change M-Tron's ability to Magnet Pull.

Still, I managed to win a couple random Wi-fi battles with this team!

a FEAR with tailwind ???

ah that's a three headed Pokémon gimmick team... now that I could never realize since I thought your strategy was gimmicky.

also there's some stall and some hyper offense (Tailwind + Hydreigon and maybe Tailwind+Dugtrio against an electric pokémon)... i don't get why you are trying to accomplish strategy-wise

Legendary i would recommend mewtwo but as powerful as he is don't get too cocky (maybe it's better to pick an OU poké instead of an Uber so you don't fall to this). Alternatively you can go Ho-Oh or Groudon, they're both good as tanks.

Pick some good boosting attackers such as Gyarados (shameless promotion right there), Dragonite, Tyranitar... Make good use of Dragon Dance.

And maybe one very fast support pokémon with some offense such as gengar or alakazam, pick any 2 of the following as a moveset: Thunder Wave/Confuse Ray (works better with thunder wave)/Will-o-Wisp, rest should be attacking moves.

Be sure to have a balance of physical and special attackers so you don't get walled up by the first physical wall in there. Magnezone, Zapdos, Alakazam and Gengar as said... you have some choice.

i'd go for kyurem white for the legendary, that thing is hella crazy.

also escavalier and swampert are great offensive tanks, one of those would be great. i'd also go for some of the psuedo's, like metagross or tyranitar. the rest could be anything, though a fast revenge killer is always useful (or just a fast attacker in general)
