Why do you guys hate Sara Palin so much?

Because she's possibly the finest example of trying to make politics and religion coincide, which I personally disagree with very strongly (each should hold neutral stances on each other), and would probably try and push very restrictive ethical ideology onto the US, as well as possibly be a super nationalist, considering her far-right perspective.
Put simply, imagine in the French Nationalist Party got through and France left the EU, and then imagine what impact that would have on Europe.

Edit: Holy sh** I just started a new game and I started in madagascar. THE LUCK.

Now i must gtfo before madagascar closes it's port.

I think I've developed quite a good tactic. Getting to Madagascar before its port closes is mostly luck, though. Annoying, but getting there leaves me strangely satisfied.

best chance at getting Madagascar is keeping your disease's visibility as low as possible while keep the infectivity as high as possible imo. worked for me a couple of times.
