So far, I've completed 1, 2, 3, and 10. I'm in the process of 4 and 9, though.

Never played 4, 1 tended to kick my arse too hard, and I didn't really like the game itself that much compared to it's sequels so I left it.
Haven't played 10, is it any good?

Yes, I thought it was good. I liked how you could get Proto Man and Bass as playable characters.

And unlike in 9, you get him for free   :approve:

Good, I don't think I bought him for 9 actually.

Still have to pay for Bass, though. It was worth it though, I was able to beat the game with him without dying.

Aside from Megaman 7, 8, and 10, I never really bothered to do the Wily stages in the other classic games.
For this same reason: Disappearing Blocks
In the middle of a fortress stage, where you cant possibly go back and get more lives, its just evil.
At least if you "farm" the stages in Megaman 10, you can get enough items to effortlessly beat a lot of the stages without worrying about spikes/pits.
Pumpman, Chillman, and Sheepman's stages are great for farming, mostly because they contain a lot of screws/1-Ups/E-Tanks

Still have to pay for Bass, though. It was worth it though, I was able to beat the game with him without dying.
GET BASS!
DO IT, DO IT NAO!
Seriously, Treble Boost, ability to fire in every direction, heck, he even has an awesome dash move.

Battlenetwork 5's "liberation" gimmick was stupid though >___>
Battlenetwork 6 is pure win.

How Blade Man can be a very annoying opponent, and yet, Triple blades being so weak....
What is this I dont even

But even still, I don't see the point in Star Force.
Starforce 1 was a little slow.
Starforce 2 was awesome, mostly because you can farm Kung Fu Kid.
Starforce 3 is just pure win. Especially because you can spam invisibility for cheap wins.

Apparently I discovered that some of the Mavericks from Megaman X7 are as flawed as Sting Chameleon from X1.
If you guise are interesting(like if you have X7) I'll be willing to tell you.
Fun-Fact: It has to do with Flame Hyenard and Sting Warfly

Just to bring this thread back from the dead, here's a fanmade Robot Master I made-
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/9568Jetman.png)
Jet Man, a flying Robot Master.

WEAPON: Jet Missile [A heat-seeking Missile simular to Dive Man's Dive Missile, but explodes upon hitting a target, flying straight ahead if no targets are in range. Can also be charged to fire up to three at once]

BIO
Clad in striking red armour with retractable jet wings and a white scarf, Jet Man was once a robot designed for aircraft maintenance, he frequently used to go on dangerous missions to fix malfunctioning aircraft. Nowadays, he's in charge of Doctor Wily's air unit. Although concieted and egotistical, he is generally responsible and competant, with a great sense of honour, holding respect for allies and foes alike. He speaks with an upper-class British Accent, and enjoys three main things in life- fighting fairly, old war movies, and racing with the other flying Robot Masters.

FIGHTING STYLE
In combat, he likes to use his own body as a weapon, utilising the wheel system in his feet to perform fast dashes and takeoffs along the ground, before following up with flying around using the jet-propelled wings in his back, ramming into his foes to do some serious damage.
Besides that, he is also equipped with wrist-mounted guided missile launchers on both arms, and the hatch in his chest opens up to allow him to Carpet-Bomb the arena floor from high above.

Also, when his health drops to half, he gains the ability to swoop down and attempt to grab his foes- if he succeeds in catching his opponent in this state, he'll fly up, loop downwards, and slam them into the ground in a jet-propelled Izuna Drop for massive damage.

MM&B DATA
"Let's fight like Gentlemen"

Good Point: Honourable
Bad Point: Egotistical
Likes: Vintage War Movies
Dislikes: Turbulence

Never did Proto Man and Oil Man any harm  :P

Besides, I think scarves are a bit easier to remove in an emergency than capes anyway. What do you think of him, though?

I have a feeling that Starfox93 drew inspiration from this:

Also, wearing a scarf (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ScarfOfAsskicking) is effectively a staple to any air-themed robot-guy. It adds to the aviator concept, and makes them look badass.

Golden.

Anyway, I haven't seen that one before- just searched the Mega Man wiki to check it didn't exist, and didn't find anything on it. But then again, those wheels and hands look kind of impractical.

The Jetman I found is purely fan-made by MegaphilX, by the way...

But then again, those wheels and hands look kind of impractical.
The wheels are apparently makes him fast on the land.
....Though I don't get why he could just hover and still use his amazing air-speed O,o
And he doesn't have hands. Those are missile launchers.

Ah, OK. I'd actually based mine more on Crash Man, Dive Man, and Jupiter, from Mega Man 5 on the Gameboy.

Megaman is awesome.  M2 had some of the best music to ever pump out of my NES ever.

Hey, does anyone know the name of that band that did remixes of Megaman music (amongst other 8bit era tunes)?  I think they were called "D-Pad" or something.  I can't remember.

You're probably thinking of either The Megas or the Protomen.

I also have another fanmade RM of mine here-
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/5372Gambitman.jpg)
GAMBIT MAN
Weapon: Deck Cutter [A close-ranged slash attack, simular to Flame Sword, is combined with throwing two razor-edged playing cards straight forward, which are fast, and can pierce shields]

An unusually shady and reclusive character, Gambit Man was built by Doctor Wily for the purpose of earning money for his operations, mainly through beating unwitting opponents at Gambling games. For this purpose, he was built with speed and agility in mind, for the purpose of escape and dealing with Casino Guards should he end up getting caught.

In combat however, he puts his speed to very good use, combined with his own special weapon- Ceratanium Playing Cards with razor-edges that he can launch like throwing knives. He can also attack viciously and quickly by dashing, dodging around the room, and tossing bombs shaped like dice, making him a very tricky opponent to keep up with.

"Fold Now, or literally go bust"
Good Point: Good Sportsman
Bad Point: Untrustworthy
Likes: Blackjack, Cherries
Dislikes: Losing Money

I think the badpoint on Gambit Man should be "Stacker" :3
