New vegas is a better game than FO3 and the old series in many aspects. The plot isn't just a fetch quest (More like revenge quest), characters are more agreeable and other details...

Even if it is just a rehashed fallout 3 I wouldn't care.
Fallout 3 is along side bioshock 1 as the best game to come out since the dreamcast died IMO.

yo

i like that Novac t-rex so i bought a t-rex souvenir at 2 caps

Totally unnecessary ? Yes. Wasting inventory weight ? Yes. Stupidly cool ? The reason you need it. I mean, it's a T-rex ! Who doesn't love t-rexes ?

Got the Ultimate Edition for £7.50 in the last Steam sale (maybe the one before the last one, I can't remember).  It's quite fun, even with all the glitches. As per normal, encumbrance is always an issue for me (mainly because I steal pretty much everything in the nearby area before moving on)... suppose I could fix that by using a console command, but oh well. Still having the typical Bethesda situation of saving every few moments just in case I screw up the stealth.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

Just completed the story mode for the first time for the NCR.  Assassinated Caesar in his own camp and took his displacer glove, and then at the Battle of Hoover Dam, showed Legate Lanius no mercy with "Mercy" and blew him to kingdom come.

I prefer Fallout 3, but New Vegas is still pretty good. I like the clan system.
