It's just so the driver can get in and out of the car. No doors on these, you see.

Essentially, it just keeps the driver's arms from flailing around and going out the window when in the event of a violent crash or rollover. They have a spring mechanism that works as a quick-release so it can be opened immediately so the driver can escape quickly if the car is on fire or leaking fuel. As Badnik said, racecars have no opening doors.

Funny thing is, when I rolled my racecar I didn't have to release the window net afterward. It apparently released itself due to the violence of the rollover.

Ok, all of wakkydude's cars, Jonzu's (I copied his car from last year on the new template) and my 3rd car are done. Also the 47 changes drivers from Nick Foxx to Shane Graysen.

I believe he said that he could either convert it or recreate it for NR2003. Now that I think about it, there may be a way to convert an NR2002 skin to an NR2003 template.
