NASCAR GameTechMods Cup 2012 season-Results
« on: March 16, 2012, 02:34:16 PM »
Yes, it is back. After last season was cut short after I lost my NT2003 disc, we will be restarting this in another game, this time it will be NR2003 (Nascar Racing 2003 Season) for this season.

Rules:

For this, you can run a team and create drivers to run in it.

TEAMS

Choose a make (Chevy, Dodge, Ford or Toyota)

Choose the number of cars in the team (1-4)

Choose numbers for your cars (0-99 with 00-09 also)

Choose sponsors (must be relevant to 2012, CANNOT be an internet meme, CANNOT be a video game more than 2 months old)

Owners must skin their team cars THEMSELVES. However, I can skin a car for you if you absolutely cannot skin. I will not accept a 10-second paint skin (a flat color with a number and sponsor I will accept, but not all entries should be that way) . Your car must look like something that would actually race in NASCAR.

We will be using a mod, the BullRing 2012 mod, which can be downloaded at the link below. That link also contains car templates.
http://bigdonlinemotorsports.com/Sprintcupseries.html

Then you must make drivers for your cars.

For your drivers, you must fill out the following stat card:
Aggression:
Consistency:
Finishing:
Qualifying:
Road Course:
Short Track:
Speedway:
Superspeedway:

All cars will have an equal pit crew and vehicle stats, so it's just the driver you need to worry about. You have 680 points to spend. No stat can be higher than 100 and no stat can be lower than 60.

You must come up with realistic names for your drivers. It doesn't have to be your real name, but make it realistic. I will not allow any names that would not be passed off as real.

I will allow more than 1 user on a team, but try to keep it just your own made up drivers.

Points system:
46 for first
42 for second
41 for third, etc.
The last place car gets 1 point
1 bonus point if you lead any number of laps

There will be no Chase for the Cup as I feel it is stupid. The season will progress without a CftC.

Registration begins today and ends on May 20th.

I will film highlight videos.

If you want to use your drivers from last year you can, and it is encouraged.

S_M has a reserved place for his championship last season, so he has 1 car for Matt Armoset already.

This will begin after BoF2 ends and after the deadline.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

You have almost exactly emulated my idea for the 2012 GTM Shootout had I not abandoned the idea.

Also, I didn't know the Bullring 2012 mod was already out. Is the damage somewhat realistic in this one?

Save me a spot for this, please. Will send entry info when I have more time.

Edit: I would like #92.

I'm a bit busy right now, so I can't get all the bits and pieces sorted out. But I would like #21 and #96, please.

I'm planning for each race to be 50% of its real-life length, so say Daytona would have 125 laps and Bristol would have 250.

DP

Any more interest for now? You don't have to make skins or anything now, just reserve numbers. Skins and stats are always appreciated though :D

Just out of interest, is there a car viewer I can download so I can see what my skin looks like?

Can I reserve #24 and #42, please? Because they're my favourite numbers (and the numbers of Jeff Gordon and Juan Pablo Montoya, my favourite drivers ;D)
