This is so true, and the worst part is that sometimes it doesn't even matter if you have good internet, the server will go down for a few seconds and put you 5 minutes behind. Lost a game last week because of that.

the problem is ranked 5s matches you with other teams that have your MMR, not by each individual skill level. A new ranked team with a bunch of diamonds is technically as good as an old ranked team that has few wins but are all gold and plat.

Got plat now, might climb a bit more, I don't really know. As long as I don't play top or jungle I should be fine with the climb.

Played in an online tourney today, we wrecked the first game then got put up against the team that went on to win the tourney. To say we got wrecked is an understatement.

I recently only just started LoL, yesterday in fact, and im trying to gain about 3000 IP as soon as possible so that I can get Katarina (Followed possibly by Jinx, or some other attack heavy champ.)

Whats the fastest way to do so?

I've been told many tactics including playing Dominion, winning as soon as possible seem to gather quite a paycheck

Playing against beginner bots is probably quickest, but IDK if they've changed the IP gain values to be lower there. Just keep playing, it'll take you like 2 weeks to get 3000.
