Do any of yous play Pokemon black and white just wondering.

We had a pokemon thread, but it got deleted because of tons of swearing in it. Anyways I did until I completed it and got all the pokemon on my current team to lv 100

My exact team:

(I had this as my sig a while ago)
All of them are around lo 70-ish, except for Chandelure, who is like in the 80s.

Its the same team Ive made for every game, and by that, I mean its a rag-tag team of random Pokemon, hence, the caption on said image.

All of them have nicknames, except Chandelure.
....He really needs one.

Pretty much all of the new pokemon games suck in my opinion; there has been almost no "true" advancement between each one, and it's getting tepid how the new 'mon look quite so stupid and unoriginal.

Why change a formula that gets them millions?

Sure, some of the pokes look meh, but you get used to them. In time. They have their little charms, as well as stories behind some of the pokemon in Japanese folklore which shows how original they actually are ;P

Because it lacks strong atmosphere, varied gameplay and replay value. The whole; "get all the pokemon and level them up" thing isn't very fun at all and the samey gameplay and atmosphere really means that it gets boring if you keep using the same formula for several games.

Because MMOs generally take a lot of money out of your pocket. Also, the format doesn't really work and the game would be much too large.

They need more spin-offs (a la Colosseum)., but ones that actually work and feature the same diversity of the handhelds.

Is that what happened to it?? I thought it just died...

B/W took steps in the right direction; it has a bit more of an involved story and has a lot of technical advancements such as random wi-fi battles and the whole global link thing (although I hate the fact that you can't grow berries in-game, only in the dream world).

What they need to do now is really shake up some of the main quest traditions... get different starters than fire/water/grass, make your main character not a kid setting out on a Pokemon journey from his little four-house town (maybe you start out as the League champion but you get all your Pokemon stolen in a cut-scene and set out on a quest for vengeance), make the main character talk and interact... maybe make other playable characters that join your party too, each with different abilities. Or change the setting, like set it in the dark ages when Pokemon are summoned from the spirit realm rather than stored in pokeballs (actually weirdly makes more sense) or set it in the distant future.

There's tons of cool stuff they could do without messing up the success formula.

I am pretty sure it got deleted like the original My Little Pony topic, Venko's Showcase and many others possibly that had profanity in then that were in the main forum.

But anyways I have seemed to lose quite a lot of intrest in Pokemon now. I still like it, it just seems like the shows are not as good as before and the new Pokemon look like some randomly created characters. Mostly I had prefered the Hoenn region and Shinnoh.

LOL the Harvest ability is stupidly awesome. I got an Exeggutor with Harvest and the following:

Sitrus Berry
Bold nature
252 Def/4 Sp.Atk/252 Sp.Def
Sleep Powder
Leech Seed
Substitute
Giga Drain

If you can't 1 hit KO it, it's difficult to take down. If you can't 2 hit KO it, it's almost impossible. Sitrus Berry keeps it healthy whenever it gets low health, and Leech Seed/Giga Drain help get it back to full. Sleep Powder makes it easy to set up and Substitute gives it a nice security buffer.

Anyone else figured out any cool movesets?

I remember something with my starter that I liked but Nowadays on my DSi I mostly play Zelda Phantom Hourglass, 42 All Time Classics and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

Does 30 more HP really make that big of a difference? (I presume you've got it at level 100)

I just realized that a Technician Scizor with Bug-Bite would tear down Cick's move-set.
