I played it for a few months.  Hooking up my Logitech Momo wheel everytime was kinda a pain.  After a while I found that you really have to put a lot of hours into the game to get the hang of the controls and track feedback.  I just don't have enough time to really enjoy it to the fullest.  So, I let my account expire.

Best racing sim I have ever played though. Amazing.

iRacing looks like the perfect sim for me - the dream racing game that I've always wanted.

Sadly, the pricing model is so ridiculous I'll never play it.

if you keep your subscription, you get 40 credits a year. ( 1 credit = $1 ) And if your talented with a painting tool, you can vulture the fourm requests to make paint schemes for them, and you get paid in 10 credit gift cards. If you learn to paint well, you can extend your subscription and buy new stuff. Plus, to get started, you can get 2 months free. ( 3 months for $12 ) So at least try it out.

And one funny thing, my mom paid for my subscription, so now my name is hers. But support will fix it.

iRacing is just NR2003 physics in a new wrapper. You can just buy NR2003 and download any mod you want for free. NR2003 has online racing leagues galore.

NR2003 itself can be a bit pricey, though. I paid $80 shipped for my copy about a year ago. It is totally worth it, though.

So that was you!!! I was wondering who it was who signed up with the referral thing. Imma go friend you, we need to race at least in a practice at some point. I remember doing that with JD in the Legends, it was fun.

Edit: looks like you changed your name or something. What is it on there now?

Edit 2: Shut up about the painting thing its how I pay for it lol

Edit 3: I believe you still have to fill up your participation to get the credits though. Basically a reward for racing.

Edit 4: Think I found you. Sent the person I think is you a PM on iRacing.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

it started out with my mom's name, but support changed it to mine. My name is Travis Golden.
btw, i asked mom for a controller, and she bought me a flight stick. I'm making money over the summer to buy a steering wheel, but don't be suprised if i wreck alot.

Well try and get good with it first before racing. People don't appreciate when you trash their safety rating along with yours. Quite a few people actually race with flight sticks so it is possible.

Oh, and iracing just announced half off all new memberships for the rest of this month... so go ahead wakky. 6 bucks will get you a month of iracing and I doubt you'll escape the rookie series by then. Most don't.
