I have the fastest legit time on that Chaos 2 vs. Tornado battle. 9800.

(The top two players found the drive controls for Tornado and backed it into the pit)

The Chaos 2 replica is missing the front wedge's platform. (For lack of a better word) Let's just say it's a static triangle below the flipper in Incredibots terms.
That's why your version goes forward - it's not supported like the real version.
