I was looking around for some DS games and was wondering whether anyone could recommend some? Cheers. (Shortest post I've ever made?)
-
Super Mario 64 DS
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
The World Ends With You
Mario Kart DS
Pokemon Black.
-
Elf Bowling 1 & 2 :trollface
I'd recommend Super Mario 64 DS and PokEmon White
-
Metroid Prime Hunters
-
Drawn to life. It's a really good game.
-
Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
I've always liked that one. (It's a Game Boy Advance game, so you'll have to put it in the bottom slot)
-
I would suggest Yugioh World Championship 2011, but I doubt TC plays Yugimonz.
-
Metroid Prime Hunters
I agree with this
Also the Professor layton games are good, if you like puzzles.
-
Medarot DS
-
What kind of game are you looking for?
-
Elf Bowling 1 & 2 :trollface
Hey! I had that back on my Windows 95!
It was fun...
Anyway,
Ninjatown
Lock's Quest (My favourite game on the DS, demo's available from the Wii Shop, I think)
Contra IV
-
Super Scribblenauts FTW
-
On second thought I'll just post my favourites, which are mostly point-and-clicks, and you can choose your favorites:
999: 9 Persons 9 Doors 9 Hours
The entire Phoenix Wright series (5 games as of writing)
Hotel Dusk and its sequel Last Window
Pokemon Ranger series (highly underrated)
Okamiden
-
I never played it, but Scribblenauts looked REALLY good. There was also a rythm game that was big one christmas, but I can't remember the name of it.

I like the Pokemon Ranger games but I got Guardian Signs A couple of days before Black and White in which I stopped playing it Because I'm one of those people who does never go back a generation of Pokemon.
Anyways I've tried to get Okamiden but it is hard trying to find it.
-
Dragon Quest IX.
-
Monster Tale's pretty fun, and Plants Vs. Zombies. So is Kirby Superstar Ultra
Also if you have a DSI, Cave Story (which is also free on the computer) and Shantae: Risky's Revenge are the best DSIware games.
-
Any of the Pokemon games, nuff said <3
-
Any of the Pokemon games, nuff said <3
Only the ones before the Pokemon started being retarded rip-offs of each other.
Shooters: Metroid Prime Hunters
Platformers: Any of the Mario GBA games
RPGs: Final Fantasy VI advanced, Mario&Luigi: Partners in Time
-
Most Pokemon games are the same.
-
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Pokemon Black & White were very good RPGs on the DS But Now I think
The World Ends With You and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn are the best RPGs from the games I've got.
-
Metroid Prime Hunters
Pokemon ****** (they're pretty much all awesome, I don't give a damn about how gay you think pokemon is)
Dragon Quest Wars (best. minigame. ever.)
Mario Kart DS
Kingdom Hearts
-

Inside Story hasn't got anything on Partners In Time; Partners in Time is just way more entertaining and inspired.

@Gazea, Get and R4 card or something along the lines.
If you are wondering what and R4 card is, read this :
http://www.articlesbase.com/computer-games-articles/what-is-an-r4-card-r4-cards-1028652.html (http://www.articlesbase.com/computer-games-articles/what-is-an-r4-card-r4-cards-1028652.html)
Using this, you can (Illegally) "Pirate" DS games from the interwebz and then place them on the SD card and play them on your DS.
For Free!
If you would much rather have an actual copy of the game then there is no point in this, but i have found them very helpful.
You can also make a back-up of any saves that you make on the card.

Don't talk about pirating games. It's illegal, and you coould get banned.
-
Pointing out the obvious, why do you think i said "(Illegally) Pirate"?
I know it's illegal BUT you can also get Homebrew games that people have created but haven't been able to put into production.
-
There is nothing illegal about a R4. Nintendo can't possibly copyright or fight a device in court that is able to communicate with it's device, especially not when the device in question has free connections to the outside specifically for this communication.
Downloading Nintendo's work (read: games in binary format) is not illegal in my country (The Netherlands), but sharing it is.
Therefor, at least in my country there is nothing illegal about downloading games to a R4 in my country. Downloading games in the USA is probably illegal (not sure, consult a lawyer), but still, a R4 can not (or at least should not) be illegal. The government may not assume you are using the device to use illegally acquired content, just like it may not assume you'll use a car for smuggling drugs.
About the Netherlands part, here it's legal to download copyrighted stuff from the internet but not to share it. This means that p2p is illegal, but direct download is not. Weird stuff huh? But not that anyone cares about this law.

You don't get banned, you get post deleted. Stop acting like you know everything.

^^This^^
The R4 Card itself is not illegal (At-least not in the UK) and i can be bought in shops, but downloading the games, is infact illegal.

Theoretically he is right, since "coould [sic] get banned" is hypothetical it is trivially true.
-
No R4 Cards are illegal since April 2010.

The pirates are out to get you. Damn them for jeopardising future film production.
-
Playables Limited's defence counsel argued that the R4 was legal as it allowed the use of homebrew applications. However, circumnavigating Nintendo's (or any other manufacturer's) security systems is against the law in this country, and because the card needs to do so to work, it is therefore illegal.
Well thank god I live in a free country. Please, if you are interested read this bullcrap: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_number (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_number)

Is it?
Didn't know that, but then again i bought my card back in '09.
-
Well I used to have an R4 card but when I found out they were illegal I put it in the bin.
So I like to buy games because it makes it worth the wait.
-
i can be bought in shops
really? How much do you cost?
-
£13.37
-
I actually do have an R4 card. Cost me £9.99 and can play any games with the constant updates. That's why I asked about formatting micro-sd cards. Turns out I needed a new one. Yeah, I do prefer the real game but I don't mind. Just waiting for my new micro-sd card to come now....
-
Ah, helpful aren't they?
-
Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Is actually quite fun on the ds (and Wii for that matter too)
And I would really love an R4 card. And a working DS :/
