I just opened the Robot Arena 1 MFC Application and found out the Armoured Forklift's Wood Armour's files were missing there so I added them. But I get this when I go play on Robot Arena 1:

What OS you running? If it's 7 or vista, run it in compatability mode for XP SP3 or Windows98, and run it in administrator.
-
I'm running a 32-bit Windows XP Professional. Anyway, I opened the MFC Application in Notepad.
-
Sorry, I'm not familiar with MFC. What is it?
-
An MFC application is an executable application for Windows that is based on the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) Library.
Anyway I put this within the other listed weapons in the MFC I opened in Notepad:
UI_BL_Att_Forklift.bmp wp_forklift_bin.gmf UI_BL_Info_Forklift.bmp

Wait, you opened the application (.exe) with notepad and put in those filenames somewhere?
-
Yes.
-
Well, there's your problem.
NEVER edit .exes in notepad.
1) They're usually encrypted, so if you do anything this happens
2) This happens
If the problem is 1, just re-install from a different source.
If it isn't, then the program is looking for stuff that isn't there. So stop making it look (take out he stuff you put in) or put the stuff in (find the missing textures and put them where they're supposed to be)
Either way, a full re-install from a different source would be the best option.

Slight bump, but what software would be good for modding an .exe to put in dummied out content such as the Armoured Forklift and Wood Armour? A hex editor, I guess?
